Kent Consulting is a boutique, privately owned consultancy specialising in the global mineral and resource sector. We focus on identifying, evaluating, and facilitating high-calibre mining and resource projects through a disciplined and strategic approach. With over 25 years of established commercial relationships, Kent Consulting operates through an international network of trusted professionals across the mining, exploration, corporate finance, and investment sectors. This network enables us to access and source a broad range of mineral projects — both private and publicly listed — across commodities such as gold, silver, copper, zinc, rare earth elements (REE), uranium, graphite, and other critical minerals.

 

Our project portfolio spans the full development spectrum, from grassroots and early-stage exploration to advanced exploration with defined resources (JORC, NI 43-101-compliant), and extends to near-term production assets. Our project locations include Australia, North and South America, Canada, Africa, Europe, and Asia.

About the founder

Blaise Thomas brings over 25 years of diverse, cross-sector experience spanning London, Europe, and Australia, with a career established in the Mining and Resources, Engineering, Technology, Investment Management and Financial Services sectors. His professional journey includes both internal leadership roles and external consultancy across a broad spectrum of organisations — from high-growth SMEs and ASX-listed companies to global blue-chip firms.

 

Throughout his career, Blaise has held board directorships, executive leadership roles, and senior management positions, as well as consulting and advisory mandates. His expertise includes corporate strategy, business development, operational management, and investment facilitation.

Blaise has successfully led and managed multifunctional teams spread across many different locations, with direct responsibility for profit and loss, strategic operations, and end-to-end sales and marketing execution. His leadership roles in Financial Services, Technology, and Executive Search and Recruitment have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of complex business environments, both locally and internationally.

His global exposure and practical experience in building and scaling businesses have enabled Blaise to cultivated an extensive and high-calibre professional network, comprising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private investment groups, corporate finance advisors, institutional funds, and publicly listed entities across the ASX, TSX, and AIM exchanges.
